Meet Mary! Tara Jarmon presents Meet Mary, a new Fall/Winter 2025 capsule inspired by British fashion designer Mary Quant.
A style icon, Mary Quant invented the miniskirt in the 1960s... and created a true fashion revolution. “It’s more convenient to run after the bus this way!” - she said.
Mary Quant's style is the basis of the new Meet Mary capsule. Among the truly “her” models:
• "Miniature" skirts
• 60s A-Line Dresses
The British spirit inherent in Mary Quant is “transmitted” by the prints:
• All kinds cell (Scottish and not only). Attention to detail: the skirt is adorned with a gold Tara Jarmon logo pin brooch.
• Signature heart pattern
The color scheme of the capsule is based on contrast: deep dark green is adjacent to ecru, the color of the first grass and powdered rose.
Of particular note are the cozy and warm capsule models, which are ideal for cold autumn or winter:
• Soft and delicate merino and alpaca knitwear (some models have additional fleece). By the way, it’s easy to make a set from these models!
• Voluminous long wool coat (85% composition) with bouclé effect
• Double-faced wool coat (80% composition) in Loden style. Loden is a water-repellent, fine wool fabric that was invented in the Alps. The term is also used to describe a coat made from a similar fabric, which usually has a natural green tint.
